It was my first time visiting Manila Ocean Park with my Family, at first I didn't really wanted to go because it was very childish but my mom insisted and wouldn't take No for an answer, So! finally I just tag a long since probably if I have stayed I will stay in bed and just rot away. We haven't also had enough family quality time and thought it was the perfect time.
Manila Ocean Park has a total of 18 interactive attractions, but we didn't get to try everything, you know we are on a budget and weekends really gets crowded and overwhelming . Marine park starts it's operation from 1000am up until 0700pm. To check daily rates and packages just click this link : https://www.manilaoceanpark.com/tickets
They are all in Smile :) specially that little rascal you will definitely see how happy he was being outside |
Oceanarium was the first attraction we did. It shelters 14,000 marine creatures from around 277 species, all indigenous to the Philippines and Southeast Asia. Featuring a watery acrylic walkthrough tunnel were you could just dream away with fishes and other sea creatures.
Just right after the Oceanarium is an open space amphitheater were they do the All Star Bird, Sea lion show also the Symphony Evening show. Ah! you really have to check the timing of shows while strategizing which attractions to visit first so that you could get he best seat, it's a first come first serve basis.
Theme park also has a space for the cold blooded creepy crawlies which my nephew really loved.
Jellies Exhibit is my cherry on top of the trip they are one of the most beautiful creatures of the ocean. Commonly known as " Dancing Sea Fairies" illuminating the surface of the ocean while gently gliding with their tentacles which makes them looks like Ballerinas. Once you watch them swim you will just get mesmerized.
Inside the theme park is also a Gift Shop were you could buy some souvenir items, they have lots of stuffed animals, Pens , stickers and T-shirts which are very affordable. If you also get hungry there are different kind of restaurant and food stalls you could choose from to dine.
Last attraction we did was the Symphony Evening Show, a roughly 30 minute show which starts at 0630pm to 0700pm. It is a stately display of huge water fountains fused with latest multimedia effect such as lights and music with grand blast of fireworks.
I did enjoy the day with my family and if you are also planning a small trip with your little kids I recommend this theme park to be your go to attraction within the Metro.
